Why I am using Comic Sans

This is the most unprofessional font ever, and that's deliberate.

I have an enormous distaste for how unergonomic the modern Internet is: extremely visually busy sites and font choices that are hostile to people with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and the like. Comic Sans instantly signals:

• This is not a systems-oriented technical site despite my background. It's a warm, fleshy diary for my thoughts.

• I am trying to make my content easier to read and digest.

• I think it's just really funny.

This is coupled with a stylistic shift. I don't really like my previous style of writing entries and I've nuked a lot of my old articles from 2024 and 2025. Instead, I'm striving to meet economical word limits and really pack dense information in them. That's partly why I'm going for Comic Sans.
